When it comes to oil injection, the reason for this kind of failure is that the oil cooler of the screw air compressor is clogged. The clogging of the oil cooler is a common failure of the screw air compressor. This phenomenon occurs when the copper pipes are clogged so that the oil cannot pass through the oil cooler.

To deal with this kind of failure, the main means is to dredge the oil cooler. The method is to take out the core of the oil cooler first, put it in the iron tank, fill up the water, put the descaling agent in the water, soak it, then take out the core of the cooler, and wrap the cooler core with a soft copper wire. If the minimum pressure fails, if there is a leakage point in the seal of the minimum pressure valve of the air compressor or the minimum pressure valve is opened in advance (because the opening pressure of each manufacturer is different, usually the range is between 3.5-5.5kg2), then the machine will At the initial stage of operation, the time to establish the pressure of the oil and gas tank will increase. At this time, the gas in the low pressure state has a high concentration of oil mist, and the flow rate is fast when passing through the oil fraction. The load of the oil fraction is increased, and the separation effect is reduced, resulting in high fuel consumption.
Solution: Overhaul the minimum pressure valve and replace it if necessary.
2. The air consumption is large, and the overload and low pressure use (or the oil treatment capacity selected before the machine leaves the factory matches the exhaust volume of the machine too tightly). The load low pressure means that when the user uses the air compressor, the exhaust pressure does not reach the air compressor. The rated working pressure itself can basically meet the courage requirements of some enterprise users. For example, enterprise users have added courage equipment, and the air consumption has increased, so that the air exhaust volume and the user’s air consumption cannot reach the quality balance. Assuming that the air pressure The rated displacement pressure of the air compressor is 8kg/cm2, but the pressure in actual use is only 5kg/cm2 or even lower. 3. Improper installation of the oil return pipe. When replacing, cleaning, and maintaining the air compressor, the oil return pipe is not inserted into the bottom of the oil separator (reference: 1~2mm from the arc center of the bottom of the oil separator is better), resulting in that the separated oil cannot be returned to the machine in time. Head, the accumulated oil will run out together with the compressed air.
Solution: stop the machine, and after the pressure release returns to zero, adjust the oil return pipe to a reasonable height (the oil return pipe is 1~2mm away from the bottom of the oil separator, and the oil return pipe with an oblique opening can be inserted into the bottom of the oil separator)
4. The oil return line of the air compressor is blocked. When the oil return line (including the oil return filter of the one-way valve machine on the oil return line) is blocked by foreign matter, the oil that condenses at the bottom of the oil after separation cannot return to the machine head. The condensed oil droplets are blown up by the air flow and taken away with the separated air. These foreign objects are usually caused by solid impurities dropped during installation.
Solution: stop the machine, release the pressure of the oil tank to zero, remove all the pipe fittings of the oil return pipe, and blow away the blocked odor. When installing the built-in oil separator, pay attention to clean the oil and gas barrel cover, and pay attention to whether there are solid particles remaining in the four parts of the oil separator core.
5. Too much oil is added to the air compressor, the amount of oil added exceeds the normal oil level, and part of the oil is taken away with the air flow, resulting in excessive fuel consumption.
Solution: After stopping the machine, after the air pressure in the oil and gas barrel is released to zero, open the oil drain valve and drain the air compressor oil to the normal oil level.
6. The design of the oil-gas separation tank of the air compressor is not standardized. Some air compressor manufacturers, when designing the oil-gas separation tank, the design of the primary separation system is unreasonable, and the primary separation effect is not ideal, so that the concentration of oil mist before entering the oil is very high. , The oil load of the air compressor is too heavy, and the processing capacity is insufficient, resulting in high oil consumption of the air compressor.

7. Unqualified air compressor oil is used. Now the general-purpose screw air compressor has high temperature protection, and its usual trip temperature is about 110-120 °C, and some machines use unqualified oil. The order of magnitude, molecular diameter ≤ 0.01μm, oil is difficult to capture and separate, resulting in high fuel consumption.

8. The oil return one-way valve of the air compressor is damaged. If the oil return one-way valve is damaged (from one-way to two-way), the internal pressure of the oil separator tank will pour a large amount of oil back to the inside through the oil return pipe after the shutdown , the next time the machine is running, the oil inside the oil will not be sucked back to the machine head in time, causing part of the oil to run out of the air compressor with the separated air (this kind of situation is common when the oil circuit stop valve and the machine head are not installed. machines with exhaust outlet check valve).
Solution: Check the one-way valve after dismantling it. If there is debris stuck to it, just clean up the debris. If the one-way valve is damaged, replace it with a new one.
