Reasons affecting the life of air compressor oil

The life of the air compressor oil directly affects the working efficiency and maintenance cost of the air compressor.
The following are the main reasons affecting the life of the air compressor oil:
- If the exhaust temperature of the jet screw air compressor is lowered by 8~10°C, the service life of the compressor oil will be doubled;
- The exhaust pressure of the single-stage injection screw compressor is 0.3~1.3mpa. Due to the difference in exhaust temperature and oxygen partial pressure, the oxidation rate of air compressor oil is also different. The actual service life of lubricating oil for low-pressure air compressors with an exhaust pressure of 0.3mpa is 3-5 times that of lubricating oil for air compressors with an exhaust pressure of 1.3mpa.

- The lubricating oil of nitrogen compressor is not affected by the weather, and its actual life is much higher than that of the same type of air compressor;
- The oleic acid value of carbon dioxide gas compressed by the same type of screw compressor is easy to exceed the standard, and the actual service life is short;
- Due to the low oxygen content and low exhaust temperature of each stage, the two-stage compression atmospheric injection screw air compressor not only has high energy efficiency, but also the actual service life of the lubricating oil is about twice that of the same type of single-stage air compressor;

- The compression ratio of the single-stage screw air compressor is high, and the compressor oil life is short;
- Due to the low exhaust temperature of the frequency conversion injection screw air compressor during the frequency conversion process, the shearing effect of the compressor on the lubricating oil is lighter than that of ordinary capacity air compressors, and the actual service life of the lubricating oil is longer. The actual service life of lubricating oil varies with frequency conversion time and depth;
- The fan of the air-cooled injection screw air compressor is added to reduce the exhaust temperature of the screw air compressor, which not only reduces power consumption, but also prolongs the service life of the compressor oil.

- Working environment: The working environment of the air compressor has a great influence on the life of the oil. Factors such as operating temperature, humidity, pollutants, dust, etc. will accelerate the aging and degradation of the oil, thereby shortening the life of the oil.
- Engine oil additives: Engine oil additives can improve the performance and oxidation resistance of the engine oil, thereby prolonging the service life of the engine oil.
- Oil filter: The quality and cleanliness of the oil filter have a great influence on the life of the oil. A high-quality oil filter can effectively filter impurities and pollutants in the oil and prolong the service life of the oil.
- Maintenance: regular replacement of engine oil and oil filter, cleaning and inspection of dirt and sediment inside the air compressor and other maintenance measures can prolong the service life of the engine oil.

- Equipment design: The design and manufacturing quality of the air compressor will also affect the life of the oil. For example, whether the design of the fueling system is reasonable, whether the design of the oil circulation system is smooth and other factors will affect the service life of the oil.
